Terms & Conditions

1. ABOUT BLOOM & OUR MISSION

BLOOM Sacred Bowls is a mother-owned business created with the intention of making beautiful, high-quality crystal singing bowls more financially accessible to sound practitioners, facilitators, and individuals building their own personal sound practice.

While BLOOM itself is a relatively young company, the experience behind our instruments is not.

BLOOM works with a family-run crystal singing bowl manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience producing crystal instruments. This long-standing manufacturing experience supports the craftsmanship, production knowledge, and quality-control processes behind the instruments we offer.

BLOOM was created to bridge a gap in the crystal singing bowl market by offering carefully produced instruments with beautiful sound, resonance, and craftsmanship at a more accessible price point than many luxury and specialty brands.

Our more accessible pricing should not be interpreted as an indication that BLOOM considers its instruments inferior in quality.

Different manufacturers may use different materials, production processes, dimensions, thicknesses, finishes, coatings, designs, tuning methods, and specifications. These differences can affect appearance, volume, resonance, sustain, tonal qualities, and playing response.

A BLOOM instrument is its own instrument.

Customers should not purchase a BLOOM instrument with the expectation that it will be physically or acoustically identical to an instrument manufactured by another company.

A difference between a BLOOM instrument and another manufacturer's instrument does not, by itself, establish that the BLOOM instrument is inferior, defective, or nonconforming.

Customers specifically seeking another manufacturer's proprietary construction, sound, appearance, resonance, playing response, or other characteristics should purchase from that manufacturer rather than expect BLOOM to reproduce those characteristics.

Personal preference for another manufacturer's instrument is not a product defect.

2. MADE-TO-ORDER INSTRUMENTS

BLOOM crystal singing bowls are individually made to order.

Depending upon the order, instruments may be selected or produced according to specifications including note, octave, frequency, size, color, finish, design, combination, or other characteristics.

BLOOM instruments are manufactured and/or fulfilled through our manufacturing facility in China and may be shipped directly from China to the customer.

BLOOM does not operate a conventional retail inventory model in which returned, refused, or previously purchased bowls are routinely placed back into manufacturing inventory and sold to another customer as that customer's newly produced order.

BLOOM does not fulfill new made-to-order purchases using another customer's returned, refused, or previously owned merchandise.

Once an order has entered production, modifications or cancellations may no longer be possible except where BLOOM expressly agrees otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

3. MADE TO ORDER — FINAL SALE

Because BLOOM instruments are individually made to order and are not conventional returnable retail inventory, all crystal singing bowls, custom sets, and made-to-order instrument purchases are final sale, except where BLOOM expressly authorizes otherwise in writing or applicable law requires a remedy.

BLOOM does not maintain a general change-of-mind return or exchange program for made-to-order instruments.

Final-sale circumstances include, without limitation:

  • buyer's remorse or change of mind;

  • subjective dislike of sound, resonance, sustain, volume, appearance, or energetic experience;

  • difficulty learning to play an instrument;

  • preference for another manufacturer;

  • reasonable production variations;

  • selecting the wrong note, octave, color, size, finish, frequency, or combination;

  • subsequently deciding that a different instrument would have been preferred;

  • subjective dissatisfaction that does not establish an actual defect or material nonconformity.

4. INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERISTICS & NATURAL VARIATION

Crystal singing bowls are individually produced instruments.

Reasonable differences may occur between instruments, including variations in:

  • shade or color;

  • dimensions;

  • thickness;

  • weight;

  • finish or texture;

  • coating or pigment placement;

  • surface characteristics or markings;

  • resonance;

  • sustain;

  • tonal qualities;

  • volume;

  • playing response.

Such reasonable variations do not, by themselves, establish that an instrument is defective or nonconforming.

Unless a product listing expressly states that the customer is purchasing the exact instrument pictured or recorded, product photographs, videos, and demonstrations should be understood as representative.

Lighting, photography, recording equipment, microphones, speakers, headphones, room acoustics, screen settings, compression, and editing may affect how an instrument appears or sounds in media.

5. NOTES, OCTAVES, FREQUENCIES & MEASUREMENTS

Where BLOOM identifies an instrument by note, octave, frequency, or similar acoustic characteristic, reasonable production and measurement tolerances may apply unless BLOOM expressly guarantees a specific tolerance in writing.

Measured frequency may vary depending upon equipment, microphone placement, room acoustics, temperature, playing technique, striker or mallet, pressure, measurement methodology, and the point during resonance at which measurement is taken.

A minor difference between measurements does not, by itself, establish a product defect.

Similarly, language concerning energetic, spiritual, or experiential “frequency” should not be interpreted as a guarantee that an instrument will produce a particular subjective physical, emotional, energetic, spiritual, or sensory experience.

6. PLAYING TECHNIQUE, VOLUME & RESONANCE

Crystal singing bowls are musical instruments.

Different bowls may have different natural volume ranges and playing responses depending upon factors including size, note, octave, thickness, dimensions, construction, and other physical characteristics.

An instrument is not defective simply because it does not play at the volume a customer personally prefers or expected.

Unless BLOOM expressly guarantees a particular measurable output in writing, BLOOM does not guarantee that an instrument will achieve a customer's preferred perceived loudness.

One bowl may naturally be louder, quieter, deeper, brighter, more responsive, or require different playing technique than another.

Attempting to force an instrument beyond its natural playing range through excessive pressure, speed, force, or prolonged friction may result in buzzing, rattling, unstable resonance, tonal changes, or loss of sustain.

Those responses do not necessarily indicate a defect.

Different bowl styles, sizes, notes, octaves, and manufacturers may require different playing techniques.

A customer accustomed to another manufacturer or instrument may therefore need to adjust pressure, speed, angle, striker choice, or other aspects of technique.

A difference between the sound a customer personally hoped to achieve and the sound or volume naturally produced by a properly functioning instrument does not, by itself, constitute a product defect.

7. BLOOM SELLS INSTRUMENTS — NOT PROFICIENCY

BLOOM Sacred Bowls is primarily a retailer of crystal singing bowls and related instruments and accessories.

Unless expressly identified as a separately purchased service, purchasing a BLOOM instrument does not include professional musical instruction, sound-healing certification, practitioner training, therapeutic training, or a comprehensive course in how to play crystal singing bowls.

BLOOM may provide general playing suggestions, educational information, demonstrations, basic troubleshooting, or product-support guidance.

BLOOM may also separately offer paid consultations with an experienced sound practitioner or sound healer.

These resources do not change the fundamental nature of the customer's purchase:

The customer is purchasing an instrument, not a guarantee of proficiency in playing that instrument.

Learning a musical instrument may require practice, experimentation, education, and development of technique.

A customer's ability to immediately produce a particular sound, volume, sustain, resonance, or playing response is not guaranteed.

It is ultimately the instrument owner's responsibility to learn how to use and play the instrument.

Difficulty playing an instrument, unfamiliarity with appropriate technique, or the need for additional practice or education does not, by itself, establish that the instrument is defective.

Just as purchasing another musical instrument does not mean its owner will immediately know how to produce every desired sound, purchasing a crystal singing bowl does not include or imply a guarantee that the purchaser will immediately know how to play it proficiently.

BLOOM supplies musical instruments and assists with product selection. We do not assess or certify a customer’s playing ability, professional qualifications, or readiness to use a particular instrument. Consultations and sound demonstrations are not practical assessments of a customer’s ability to play their selected bowls.

Purchasing an instrument does not guarantee immediate proficiency or a particular playing result. Customers are responsible for developing their playing skills and following the care and playing guidance provided. Some instruments may require more practice and exploration than others.

8. SUBJECTIVE SOUND, ENERGETIC & PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Sound and sensory experience are inherently personal.

BLOOM does not guarantee that an instrument or set will:

  • “feel right” in a customer's body;

  • doesn't sound "right"

  • feel energetically compatible;

  • create a particular emotional response;

  • create a particular spiritual response;

  • produce a particular sensory experience;

  • match a customer's subjective understanding of “frequency”;

  • sound exactly as imagined;

  • be preferred over another instrument or manufacturer;

  • create a particular healing, meditative, energetic, or wellness experience.

Descriptions such as “grounding,” “angelic,” “ethereal,” “uplifting,” “balancing,” “expansive,” “restorative,” or similar terminology describe artistic, experiential, spiritual, or wellness concepts and are not guarantees of a particular result.

Personal preference is not a product defect.

9. QUALITY CONTROL & PRE-SHIPMENT TESTING

BLOOM takes product quality seriously.

Every BLOOM crystal singing bowl undergoes individual quality-control and sound testing before shipment. Testing includes verification of applicable note and octave and evaluation of sound and resonance.

Video documentation of the actual instruments is retained as part of BLOOM's pre-shipment quality-control process.

BLOOM may rely upon this documentation, together with manufacturing records, photographs, order specifications, customer communications, and other relevant evidence, when evaluating a subsequent product concern.

10. 30-DAY PRODUCT SUPPORT

BLOOM provides reasonable product support for 30 calendar days from confirmed delivery.

This support period is intended to provide customers with a reasonable opportunity to become familiar with their instruments, ask product and basic playing questions, troubleshoot concerns, and provide BLOOM with information necessary to evaluate a potential product issue.

Support may include reasonable assistance concerning:

  • basic playing technique;

  • striker or mallet use;

  • resonance;

  • bowl behavior;

  • basic troubleshooting;

  • evaluation of a potential product concern.

BLOOM may request photographs, audio, or video showing the instrument, striker or mallet, playing technique, pressure, speed, positioning, and reported behavior.

BLOOM's 30-day product-support period is product support, not a complimentary 30-day private training program.

It does not include unlimited private consultation, ongoing individualized musical instruction, sound-healing education, practitioner training, certification, or months of continuing playing support.

The 30-day support period is also not a return period, trial period, satisfaction guarantee, or automatic right to exchange or refund.

After reasonable initial support has been provided, developing the skills and familiarity necessary to play the instrument remains the owner's responsibility.

Customers seeking extensive individualized guidance may be directed to educational resources or paid private consultation where available.

11. REPORTING A CONCERN DOES NOT FREEZE THE SUPPORT PERIOD

Simply notifying BLOOM of a concern during the 30-day support period does not create an indefinite or extended support period.

Customers reporting a concern are responsible for reasonably and actively participating in the troubleshooting and evaluation process.

This may include responding to BLOOM's questions, attempting reasonable troubleshooting steps, and providing requested photographs, audio, or video.

If BLOOM requests reasonable documentation necessary to evaluate a concern, customers should provide that information within 7 calendar days of BLOOM's request and, where reasonably possible, within the original 30-day support period.

Failure to reasonably participate, extended inactivity, abandonment of troubleshooting, or waiting weeks or months to provide requested evidence does not automatically pause, restart, or extend the original support period.

For example, sending BLOOM a message during the support period stating that an instrument “doesn't work” or “doesn't sound right,” and then waiting weeks or months to provide requested evidence, does not convert the original support period into a 60-day, 90-day, or indefinite trial or consultation period.

Where a customer and BLOOM are actively addressing a reported concern when the support period expires, BLOOM may reasonably continue that specific evaluation until it is completed.

Reporting dissatisfaction or a suspected issue does not itself establish that the product was defective when delivered.

Nothing in this section shortens or eliminates a legal right that cannot lawfully be limited by this support policy.

12. SHIPPING DAMAGE — REPORT WITHIN 3 CALENDAR DAYS

Shipping damage should be reported to BLOOM within 3 calendar days of confirmed delivery so that BLOOM can promptly document the condition of the shipment and pursue available carrier, manufacturer, insurer, or other remedies.

Customers are strongly encouraged to photograph or record the package before and during opening, particularly where the shipping carton shows visible damage.

A shipping-damage report may require:

  • customer name and order number;

  • confirmed delivery date;

  • photographs of all sides of the shipping carton before it is discarded;

  • photographs of dents, punctures, crushing, moisture, tears, openings, or other external damage;

  • shipping label and tracking information;

  • photographs/video immediately after opening;

  • internal protective packaging and its arrangement;

  • the instrument positioned in its original packaging where reasonably possible;

  • photographs of the complete instrument;

  • close-ups of alleged damage;

  • photographs of broken or detached pieces;

  • video where appropriate;

  • other information reasonably required to evaluate or process the claim.

Customers should retain the carton, internal packaging, labels, protective materials, damaged merchandise, and broken pieces until BLOOM confirms they are no longer required.

Customers should not repair, glue, refinish, alter, dispose of, or continue extensively handling a damaged instrument while a claim is being evaluated, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety.

Failure to promptly report damage or preserve reasonably necessary evidence may prevent BLOOM or another relevant party from verifying or processing a shipping-damage claim.

The 3-day period describes BLOOM's shipping-damage reporting process and does not eliminate any right that applicable law does not permit BLOOM to waive.

13. WHAT MAY WARRANT PRODUCT EVALUATION

A product concern may warrant evaluation where, for example, an instrument:

  • arrives physically broken, cracked, chipped, or materially structurally damaged;

  • is the wrong instrument;

  • materially fails to match an expressly agreed note, octave, or other objective specification outside reasonable production tolerance;

  • is incapable of functioning as a crystal singing bowl when appropriately played; or

  • is otherwise materially inconsistent with specifications expressly accepted for the order.

The following, by themselves, do not necessarily establish a product defect:

  • difficulty playing;

  • beginner or limited playing experience;

  • unfamiliarity with the instrument;

  • experience primarily with another brand or style;

  • needing to adjust speed, pressure, angle, positioning, or technique;

  • buzzing or unstable resonance caused by excessive pressure or overplaying;

  • inability to reach a personally preferred volume;

  • one bowl naturally being louder or quieter than another;

  • volume differences among different notes, sizes, or octaves;

  • needing practice to produce or sustain sound;

  • an unfamiliar bowl requiring a different technique;

  • an instrument becoming unstable when pushed beyond its natural playing range;

  • expecting BLOOM instruments to respond identically to another manufacturer's instruments;

  • preferring a louder, softer, deeper, brighter, higher, or otherwise different tone;

  • subjective dissatisfaction with resonance or sustain;

  • comparison to substantially higher-priced luxury or specialty instruments;

  • an instrument not “feeling right” in the customer's body;

  • an instrument feeling energetically or vibrationally different than expected;

  • describing an instrument as “off frequency” without objective evidence that an expressly agreed specification was not met;

  • personal dislike;

  • deciding after delivery that different notes, octaves, colors, sizes, or combinations would have been preferable;

  • reasonable visual or tonal variation;

  • differences from demonstrations, recordings, testimonials, or experiential descriptions;

  • another practitioner preferring a different instrument.

Again:

A difference between the sound a customer personally hoped to achieve and the sound or volume naturally produced by a properly functioning instrument does not, by itself, constitute a product defect.

14. EXCEPTIONAL RETURNS ONLY

BLOOM does not operate a general return program for made-to-order instruments.

In rare or exceptional circumstances, BLOOM may voluntarily authorize a return.

Any such authorization:

  1. must be expressly provided by BLOOM in writing before the merchandise is returned;

  2. applies only to that particular transaction;

  3. does not modify BLOOM's Final Sale Policy;

  4. does not create an expectation that another return will be accepted; and

  5. does not establish an admission that the merchandise was defective or that BLOOM was legally required to accept the return.

Unless BLOOM determines that merchandise was delivered damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially inconsistent with expressly accepted specifications, the customer is responsible for applicable return costs.

15. COSTS OF AN EXCEPTIONAL RETURN

Where BLOOM voluntarily authorizes a return of merchandise that is not verified as damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially nonconforming, applicable return expenses are the customer's responsibility unless BLOOM agrees otherwise in writing.

Depending upon the circumstances, these costs may include:

  • return transportation;

  • appropriate protective packaging;

  • tracking;

  • insurance where reasonably available;

  • duties;

  • tariffs;

  • customs charges;

  • brokerage fees;

  • receiving or storage charges;

  • handling costs;

  • other reasonable expenses associated with safely returning the merchandise.

Because crystal singing bowls are fragile and require appropriate packaging and transportation, the cost of returning an instrument may be significant in relation to its original purchase price.

Authorization of an exceptional return therefore does not guarantee that the customer's net recovery will equal or be close to the original amount paid.

Any deduction or charge will be made only to the extent permitted by applicable law and disclosed or agreed to where required.

16. REFUNDS GENERALLY REQUIRE RETURN OF THE MERCHANDISE

If BLOOM exceptionally authorizes a refund for merchandise already delivered to a customer, the applicable merchandise must ordinarily be returned to BLOOM before the refund is issued, unless BLOOM expressly confirms otherwise in writing.

BLOOM does not operate a “full refund and keep the merchandise” policy.

Authorization of a refund does not ordinarily mean that the customer may retain the instruments free of charge.

Where return is required, the customer must follow BLOOM's written return instructions and return the applicable instruments, accessories, and components included in the authorized return.

A return authorization does not itself mean that a refund has already been approved or processed.

Where applicable, BLOOM may require returned merchandise to be successfully delivered, retrieved, documented, unpacked, and inspected before an approved refund is processed.

Severely Damaged Merchandise

Where an instrument arrives shattered, severely broken, or otherwise damaged to an extent that makes return transportation unsafe or unreasonable, BLOOM may determine that physical return is unnecessary.

This exception is not automatic.

The customer must still comply with the applicable shipping-damage reporting and documentation process.

BLOOM may require the customer to retain damaged merchandise and packaging while an investigation is underway and may later provide instructions regarding safe disposal.

17. AUTHORIZED RETURN DESTINATIONS

BLOOM bowls are manufactured in China where they are sent out directly to the customer. BLOOM does not have a return facility in North America, being an online business we also do not have official BLOOM headquarters. BLOOM determines where an authorized return is to be delivered.

A customer may select how to transport an authorized return subject to BLOOM's requirements, but the customer may not independently designate BLOOM's return destination.

Merchandise must be returned to the address or commercial receiving facility provided by BLOOM in writing.

Leaving merchandise at a UPS/FED Ex Store, postal outlet, carrier depot, private business, residence, hotel, airport, storage facility, public location, or another third-party location with the expectation that BLOOM will retrieve it does not constitute an authorized return unless BLOOM expressly approved that arrangement in writing.

BLOOM operates online and does not maintain a public walk-in return counter unless expressly stated otherwise.

Unless BLOOM expressly agrees in writing, BLOOM does not provide:

  • airport collections;

  • parking-lot exchanges;

  • residential pickups;

  • meetings with private transporters;

  • collections from a customer's friend or family member;

  • personal return appointments;

  • on-demand retrieval from customer-selected locations.

  • chosen return locations by the customer in Canada because they are Canadian and one of our owners happen to also be Canadian.

A customer cannot create an obligation or retrieval deadline for BLOOM by leaving merchandise at an unauthorized location.

Subject to applicable law, merchandise transported through a customer-arranged return remains the customer's responsibility until successfully delivered to BLOOM's authorized return destination.

Customers are strongly encouraged to document the condition and packaging of merchandise before an authorized return is transported.

18. COMMERCIAL RECEIVING FACILITIES

BLOOM may designate a third-party commercial receiving facility for an authorized return.

Unless BLOOM expressly states otherwise, personnel at such a facility are authorized only to receive merchandise.

They are not authorized to:

  • determine whether an instrument is defective;

  • inspect on BLOOM's behalf;

  • approve a refund;

  • approve an exchange;

  • negotiate a return;

  • promise a remedy;

  • resolve a customer dispute.

Delivery to an authorized commercial receiving facility places the merchandise into BLOOM's return process but does not automatically establish that the customer is entitled to a refund or that the customer's characterization of the product has been accepted.

BLOOM may retrieve, document, unpack, and inspect returned merchandise at a later time.

19. TRAVEL, AIR TRANSPORTATION & CUSTOMER-ARRANGED TRANSPORT

Crystal singing bowls are fragile instruments and may crack, chip, fracture, or shatter if dropped, compressed, struck, improperly packed, or mishandled.

Customers choosing to travel with BLOOM instruments—including by airplane, automobile, bus, train, cruise ship, or other transportation—assume the risks associated with their chosen transportation after the instruments have been delivered to them, subject to applicable law.

Air travel presents particular risks to fragile crystal instruments.

Checked baggage and other luggage may be dropped, stacked, compressed, vibrated, impacted, inspected, opened, or repacked by airline, airport, security, customs, baggage, or other personnel outside BLOOM's control.

Even an instrument that was undamaged before travel may be damaged or destroyed during transportation.

BLOOM cannot guarantee that an instrument will survive air travel or other customer-arranged transportation, whether transported as checked baggage, carry-on baggage, cargo, or by another person.

Customers are responsible for selecting appropriate protective cases and packaging and determining applicable airline, carrier, security, customs, and baggage requirements.

Damage occurring after confirmed delivery as a result of customer-arranged travel, transportation, handling, repacking, baggage handling, airline transportation, or another person's possession is not shipping damage attributable to BLOOM and does not, by itself, establish a manufacturing defect.

If a customer chooses to have a friend, family member, courier, traveler, private transporter, or other third party personally transport an instrument after delivery, that transportation is customer-arranged transportation.

Customer-arranged hand delivery or air transportation is not an authorized return method unless BLOOM expressly approves it in writing.

20. SHIPPING, PRODUCTION & DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

Production, fulfillment, shipping, and delivery estimates are estimates unless BLOOM expressly guarantees otherwise.

BLOOM may experience delays resulting from manufacturing, quality control, transportation, customs, severe weather, holidays, supply-chain disruption, carrier backlogs, governmental action, international transportation, or circumstances outside BLOOM's reasonable control.

BLOOM will comply with applicable requirements governing shipment timing, delay notifications, cancellation rights, and refunds.

Where applicable law gives a customer the right to cancel because BLOOM cannot ship within a promised or legally required timeframe, nothing in these Terms eliminates that right.

Once merchandise has shipped, carrier transit estimates are generally outside BLOOM's direct control.

21. CUSTOMER DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address and making reasonable arrangements to receive their shipment.

To the extent permitted by law, BLOOM is not responsible for delays, failed delivery attempts, or additional expenses caused by:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer;

  • missing apartment, unit, access, or gate information;

  • inaccessible delivery locations;

  • failure to respond to carrier communications;

  • failure to collect a shipment;

  • absence where receipt or signature is required;

  • customer-requested rerouting;

  • refusal of delivery.

Refusing, abandoning, or failing to collect a shipment does not automatically convert a made-to-order purchase into an authorized return or automatically create a refund right.

Additional shipping, storage, handling, customs, return, or redelivery costs arising from these circumstances may be the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.

22. PRICING, AVAILABILITY & SHIPPING CHARGES

Product prices, consultation fees, promotional offers, discounts, availability, shipping charges, and other amounts displayed on BLOOM's website may change at any time for future purchases.

BLOOM may add, remove, discontinue, modify, or reprice products, sets, notes, octaves, colors, finishes, accessories, services, promotions, or shipping methods.

Changes to BLOOM's website pricing after an order has been accepted do not ordinarily retroactively change the agreed product price for that accepted order, except where a pricing or technical error occurred or an adjustment is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law.

A customer is not entitled to a price adjustment merely because BLOOM later changes a price, introduces a promotion, modifies a discount, or offers the same or a similar product at a different price.

Product availability may change.

Shipping charges may vary based upon destination, instrument dimensions or weight, packaging, carrier rates, shipping method, fuel surcharges, international transportation costs, and other logistical factors.

23. TARIFFS, DUTIES, TAXES & IMPORT CHARGES

BLOOM instruments may be manufactured and/or shipped internationally.

Depending upon destination and applicable law, an order may be subject to:

  • tariffs;

  • customs duties;

  • import taxes;

  • VAT, GST, or similar taxes;

  • brokerage charges;

  • customs-clearance charges;

  • carrier assessments;

  • governmental fees;

  • other import-related expenses.

Unless BLOOM expressly states at checkout that a particular charge is included in the amount collected by BLOOM, these external charges may be the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Tariffs, customs rules, governmental assessments, carrier charges, and international trade requirements may change after an order is placed.

BLOOM does not control government-imposed tariffs or third-party customs charges and cannot guarantee that such external costs will remain unchanged while an order is being manufactured or transported.

Failure or refusal to pay applicable import charges or complete required customs procedures does not automatically transform a made-to-order purchase into an authorized return or refund, subject to applicable law.

24. PAID PRIVATE CONSULTATIONS

BLOOM may offer private bowl and sound consultations separately from ordinary product support.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, a private consultation is $150 USD for up to 60 minutes.

Where BLOOM offers a purchase-credit promotion, the $150 consultation fee may be applied toward a qualifying BLOOM bowl set purchased within 30 days of the consultation, subject to the terms disclosed for that offer.

Unless BLOOM states otherwise:

  • the credit applies only to the consultation purchaser;

  • it must be used within 30 days;

  • it applies only to qualifying purchases;

  • it has no cash value;

  • it is not retroactive;

  • it is not transferable without BLOOM's agreement.

If no qualifying purchase is made, the consultation fee remains payment for the consultation service provided.

Ordinary product questions do not require a paid consultation.

However, extensive individualized set creation, note or frequency selection, dedicated phone/video guidance, or ongoing individualized education may require a paid consultation.

Recommendations made during a consultation constitute professional or experiential guidance. The customer remains responsible for approving final instrument selections.

25. WELLNESS, SPIRITUAL & EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION

BLOOM products and content may be used in connection with sound, meditation, relaxation, ceremony, spirituality, artistic practice, education, or general wellness.

BLOOM crystal singing bowls are not represented as medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, illness, injury, or a medical or mental-health condition.

References to sound healing, energy, chakras, frequency, intention, grounding, energetic alignment, or similar concepts should be understood within their experiential, spiritual, artistic, or general wellness context.

Individual experiences vary.

BLOOM does not guarantee a physical, emotional, energetic, spiritual, therapeutic, or wellness outcome.

Testimonials, demonstrations, recordings, reviews, and descriptions reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee that another customer will experience the same result.

26. SAFETY & BROKEN CRYSTAL

Crystal singing bowls are fragile.

An instrument may crack, chip, fracture, or shatter if dropped, struck, mishandled, improperly stored, or improperly transported.

Broken or chipped crystal may create extremely sharp edges and fragments capable of causing cuts or other physical injury.

Do not continue playing or unnecessarily handling an instrument that is cracked, shattered, sharp, or structurally compromised.

Damaged crystal should be isolated, handled, and disposed of using appropriate safety precautions.

Customers are responsible for reasonable positioning, handling, storage, and transportation of their instruments.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BLOOM is not responsible for injury resulting from improper handling, storage, transportation, misuse, or continued handling of a visibly damaged instrument.

Crystal singing bowls may produce substantial sound and vibration.

Customers should use reasonable judgment regarding volume, duration, and proximity to the ears and discontinue or reduce exposure if they experience pain, ringing, dizziness, discomfort, or another concerning response.

Individuals with medical concerns, hearing conditions, implanted medical devices, pregnancy-related concerns, sound sensitivity, or other relevant conditions should seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.

27. PRODUCT CARE

Customers should protect crystal instruments from falls, impact, excessive pressure, and unsafe storage.

Use an appropriate stable surface or support ring where suitable.

Clean instruments with appropriate soft materials and avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents unless specifically appropriate for the instrument.

Damage resulting from improper cleaning, handling, storage, transportation, alteration, repair, or misuse does not constitute a manufacturing defect merely because it occurs after purchase.

28. AFFILIATES, REFERRAL PARTNERS & INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTIES

BLOOM may work with affiliates, referral partners, ambassadors, practitioners, creators, or other independent third parties who recommend BLOOM products and may receive commissions, referral fees, product credits, or other compensation.

BLOOM affiliates are not BLOOM customer-service representatives.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, an affiliate's role is limited to promotion, recommendation, or referral.

Affiliates are not BLOOM employees, owners, customer-care representatives, warranty administrators, return coordinators, dispute-resolution representatives, or authorized company decision-makers.

Customers must contact BLOOM directly concerning:

  • product concerns;

  • troubleshooting;

  • shipping or delivery;

  • damage;

  • complaints;

  • returns;

  • refunds;

  • exchanges;

  • replacements;

  • credits;

  • alleged defects;

  • payment disputes;

  • other post-purchase customer-service matters.

Reporting a concern to an affiliate does not constitute reporting that concern to BLOOM.

Contacting an affiliate, tagging an affiliate on social media, or sending an affiliate a direct message does not, by itself, satisfy BLOOM's 3-day shipping-damage reporting requirement, 30-day product-support process, or another notice requirement.

Affiliates have no authority to independently approve or promise refunds, returns, replacements, exchanges, credits, reimbursements, warranty remedies, policy exceptions, shipping arrangements, product specifications, or delivery commitments on BLOOM's behalf.

An affiliate's personal opinion regarding whether an instrument is defective, properly tuned, difficult to play, suitable for a customer, or eligible for a remedy is not a determination by BLOOM.

Purchasing through an affiliate link or using an affiliate discount code does not create a customer-service relationship between the purchaser and the affiliate.

The customer's purchase relationship is with BLOOM.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, BLOOM is not responsible for an affiliate's separate business activities, courses, sound-healing practices, advice, social-media content, or unauthorized representations.

Likewise, affiliates are not responsible for BLOOM's customer-service decisions or enforcement of BLOOM policies.

29. CUSTOMER CARE, COMPANY POLICY & AUTHORITY

BLOOM is a small, owner-operated business, and ownership is personally and actively involved in customer care.

We take pride in our instruments and make reasonable efforts to provide customers with a thoughtful and responsive experience.

At times, an owner, team member, customer-care representative, administrative assistant, contractor, or other person working with BLOOM may provide additional assistance, troubleshoot an instrument, discuss potential solutions, or attempt to resolve a concern.

Providing customer service does not authorize an individual representative to permanently modify or disregard BLOOM's Terms, Final Sale Policy, return requirements, support periods, or other company policies.

BLOOM's policies are company policies.

They are not the personal policies of an individual owner, co-owner, assistant, administrator, contractor, manufacturer representative, affiliate, or other person associated with BLOOM.

Informal conversations, telephone discussions, troubleshooting assistance, expressions of sympathy or understanding, or discussions of possible solutions do not constitute a modification of these Terms.

Any exception to BLOOM's policies must be expressly authorized and confirmed in writing on behalf of BLOOM.

An authorized exception applies only to the transaction for which it was granted and does not amend BLOOM's general policies or create an entitlement to the same or a similar exception in the future.

30. GOODWILL DOES NOT MODIFY COMPANY POLICY

BLOOM may occasionally provide assistance or accommodations beyond what is required under these Terms in an effort to provide a positive customer experience.

Additional troubleshooting, extended communication, complimentary products, shipping assistance, discounts, credits, exceptional return authorization, or other goodwill accommodations do not constitute an admission of liability and do not establish an ongoing obligation to provide the same accommodation in another transaction.

BLOOM's willingness to attempt to help resolve a situation should not be interpreted as a permanent waiver of the company's contractual rights.

31. RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION & CUSTOMER CONDUCT

BLOOM welcomes questions, concerns, and good-faith complaints. We ask that communications with our team and representatives remain respectful.

Threats of harm, targeted harassment, discriminatory abuse, disclosure of private personal information, and repeated abusive communications are not acceptable, including when used to pressure BLOOM into providing a refund, discount, policy exception, or other outcome.

Where such conduct occurs, BLOOM may set communication boundaries, require communication through a designated written channel, or discontinue optional consultations and nonessential interactions. These measures do not remove any outstanding obligations or rights under applicable law.

Disagreeing with a policy, requesting a remedy, sharing an honest review, or pursuing a lawful complaint does not, by itself, constitute harassment or abuse.

32. PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

If a customer initiates a payment dispute, chargeback, PayPal dispute, card dispute, or similar claim, BLOOM may provide relevant information to the payment provider or other appropriate party.

This information may include:

  • order records;

  • applicable policies;

  • product specifications;

  • customer selections;

  • communications;

  • photographs;

  • audio or video;

  • pre-shipment quality-control documentation;

  • manufacturing information;

  • tracking and delivery information;

  • return records;

  • other reasonably relevant evidence.

Initiating a payment dispute does not, by itself, establish that merchandise was defective or that an authorized return was completed.

Where a payment dispute concerns merchandise still in the customer's possession, the initiation or resolution of that dispute does not independently authorize the customer to retain merchandise for which payment has been reversed or refunded.

Any required return or disposition of merchandise will be handled in accordance with applicable law, applicable payment-provider requirements, and instructions issued through the dispute process.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a customer from exercising a payment-dispute right that cannot lawfully be waived.

33. OPPORTUNITY TO RESOLVE CONCERNS

BLOOM encourages customers to contact BLOOM directly regarding concerns with an order or instrument.

Where appropriate, customers should provide BLOOM with reasonable information and documentation concerning a product issue and a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond.

Depending upon the concern, BLOOM may request photographs, video, audio, packaging, shipping documentation, playing demonstrations, or other reasonably relevant information.

Nothing in this section requires a customer to surrender a legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

34. PRESERVATION OF PRODUCTS & EVIDENCE

Where a customer alleges that an instrument is damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially nonconforming, the customer should preserve the instrument and reasonably relevant packaging, photographs, videos, shipping materials, broken pieces, and other evidence while the concern is being evaluated.

Customers should not intentionally alter, repair, refinish, destroy, dispose of, or materially modify an instrument that is the subject of an unresolved product claim unless reasonably necessary for safety or BLOOM confirms otherwise.

BLOOM may rely upon available order records, communications, shipping records, photographs, video, quality-control documentation, and other relevant evidence when evaluating a claim.

35. NO ADMISSION OF LIABILITY

BLOOM's efforts to assist a customer, troubleshoot an instrument, investigate a complaint, authorize an exceptional return, offer a replacement, issue a credit or refund, reimburse an expense, or provide another customer-service accommodation do not constitute an admission that BLOOM, its manufacturer, or another party was at fault or legally liable.

36. CIRCUMSTANCES OUTSIDE BLOOM'S REASONABLE CONTROL

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BLOOM will not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.

These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, carrier interruptions, customs delays, transportation disruptions, holidays, governmental restrictions, labor disruptions, supply-chain interruptions, manufacturing interruptions, widespread technology failures, civil emergencies, or similar circumstances.

Where legally required, applicable customer rights concerning delayed shipment, cancellation, or refund remain unaffected.

37. BLOOM'S RIGHTS & REMEDIES

Nothing in these Terms prevents BLOOM from exercising rights or remedies available to it under applicable law.

BLOOM may preserve and use transaction records, communications, photographs, video, quality-control records, shipping information, and other relevant documentation where reasonably necessary to investigate a dispute, respond to a payment claim, enforce an agreement, establish or defend a legal claim, or comply with lawful requests, subject to applicable privacy and other laws.

38. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, BLOOM's website content, original photographs, videos, graphics, branding, logos, written materials, product descriptions, educational materials, and other original content are owned by or licensed to BLOOM and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

BLOOM content may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, sold, commercially exploited, or represented as another party's original content without appropriate authorization, except as otherwise permitted by law.

Nothing in this provision restricts lawful consumer reviews, commentary, criticism, or other legally protected uses.

39. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BLOOM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from misuse, improper handling, improper storage, improper transportation, customer-arranged transportation, unauthorized modification, or use of an instrument contrary to reasonable safety precautions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates rights or remedies that applicable consumer-protection, product-liability, warranty, or other law does not permit BLOOM to waive.

40. EXCEPTIONS DO NOT MODIFY BLOOM POLICIES

Any exception BLOOM makes applies only to the particular transaction for which it was expressly authorized.

An exception does not:

  • amend BLOOM's general policies;

  • establish a course of dealing;

  • create a continuing entitlement;

  • require BLOOM to make the same or a similar exception for another customer or transaction.

An exception must be expressly confirmed in writing by BLOOM.

41. SOUND SAMPLES & CONSULTATION AVAILABILITY

Recordings in the BLOOM Listening Lounge feature bowls available to us at the time of recording. During a consultation, demonstrations are limited to the bowls the team member has available at the time of your call.

BLOOM is not obligated to carry or provide recordings or live demonstrations of every note, octave, size, or possible bowl combination. Your requested custom set may therefore not be available to hear in its exact combination before ordering. Any samples presented are references for the bowls demonstrated, rather than recordings of your exact custom set.

42. SEVERABILITY & NO WAIVER

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that determination will not automatically invalidate the remaining provisions, which will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

BLOOM's decision not to enforce a provision in one circumstance does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision or BLOOM's right to enforce it in another circumstance.

43. ENTIRE AGREEMENT & WRITTEN PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

These Terms, together with the applicable order details, product listing, expressly agreed written specifications, and policies incorporated into the purchase, constitute the terms applicable to the transaction.

Customers should not rely upon assumptions regarding product characteristics, services, remedies, training, or policies that BLOOM has not expressly represented.

Nothing in this provision eliminates an express representation or legal obligation that applicable law requires BLOOM to honor.

44. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

BLOOM may revise these Terms prospectively as its products, services, operations, or legal requirements change.

Updated Terms will be posted on BLOOM's website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed, the Terms applicable when a customer places an order generally govern that transaction rather than a later version introduced after the purchase.

45. CONTACTING BLOOM

Questions concerning an order, product, shipping issue, return authorization, product-support matter, or these Terms should be directed to BLOOM rather than to an affiliate or referral partner.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By completing a purchase from BLOOM, the customer acknowledges that:

  • BLOOM crystal singing bowls are individually made-to-order instruments;

  • made-to-order instrument purchases are final sale except where BLOOM expressly authorizes otherwise;

  • crystal instruments naturally vary;

  • personal sound, volume, playing, energetic, or aesthetic preference does not by itself establish a defect;

  • purchasing an instrument does not include a guarantee of playing proficiency or unlimited private instruction;

  • BLOOM provides 30 calendar days of reasonable product support, not a 30-day trial or return period;

  • simply reporting a concern during that period does not create an indefinite support period;

  • shipping damage should be reported within 3 calendar days with appropriate documentation;

  • exceptional returns require prior written authorization;

  • an approved refund for delivered merchandise ordinarily requires return of that merchandise;

  • exceptional non-defect returns may involve substantial customer-paid return costs;

  • affiliates do not handle BLOOM customer service or make decisions on BLOOM's behalf;

  • customer-arranged transportation, including air travel, creates risks of damage to fragile crystal instruments; and

  • the customer has reviewed and accepted these Terms before completing the purchase.

Thank you to everyone who has supported BLOOM over the years. It is a privilege to provide thoughtfully crafted musical instruments and to be part of your exploration of sound. We look forward to continuing to bring beautiful bowls into your homes, studios, and practices.

With gratitude,
BLOOM Sacred Bowls Team
